A message from
founder Phil Lawson

At the age of 44, in the fall of 1999, Phil Lawson stepped out of the corporate world to research and write about the interconnected nature of our world.

Over the next eight years he conceptualized and designed a patent for a visualization model and co-authored a book about the topic.

The patent was filed in 2003 and approved in 2008. The book "Being Spherical" was published in 2004.

He also designed the technology for the visualization tool and in 2005 developed and implemented the online version.

Over the last five years thousands of hours have been spent creating thousands of sphere charts to validate the process. In-depth analysis and reports of the process were completed along with many training sessions with advisors, counselors and clients.

Lawson has presented his research at numerous public presentations, seminars and webinars. The Spherit system is now available for wide scale use.

The sphere frontier

It's time to see the connections in a complex world. It's time to understand how to utilize them. It's time to unite the skills and talents we already have to better navigate our way.

The Spherit system can play a key role. Note these benefits:

Integrates our cognitive abilities with our visual and spatial ones

Awakens our capacity to see patterns of connectivity

Reduces emotional reactions

Transforms problem-solving skills into strength magnifiers

Fear of unknowns dissolves

How does one little sphere chart have such an impact in the hands of skilled coaches, counselors and consultants? Consider it a mentoring device, a private tutor, a nudge in a new direction.

It's astonishing to ponder the number of technological accomplishments mankind has experienced in the last 100 years. The unexpected by-product, however, has been a complex world.

Words like "flexibility" and "responsiveness" now define our reality, where "predictability" once did. But we have yet to shake loose of one aspect of our past. The industrial revolution ushered in the last century and glorified the machine.

Like machines, we broke our jobs and lives into parts. We over-analyzed those parts trying to fix things. We bogged ourselves down with "how to" steps and rules. Many people still do, even though our jobs and lives are self-organizing, complex adaptive systems.

It's time to expand our vision. Imagine a way to break through limiting views. Imagine the possibilities ...
